Billie Mckee

Billie McKee, 79, of 814 Waters Street, died Nov. 19, 2013. Mrs. McKee was a member of Second Baptist Church of Shelby, retired from Childress Roofing as a secretary, and previously worked at Fiber Ind. and Commercial Credit.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Earl Elmer Norrod, Sr. and Haley Ann Bowman Norrod; brothers, Earl Norrod, Jr. and Jesse Norrod; sisters, Bonz Young and Betty Harris; brothers-in-law, Arthur Young, Bill McKee and John Patterson; and sister-in-law, Betty Huntsinger.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Charles Douglas McKee of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Chris McKee and Becky of Garner; grandson, Douglas McKee of Garner; brothers-in-law, Doyle Harris and Pam of Tennessee, Ralph McKee and Aree of Gaffney, S.C., and Bill Huntsinger of Shelby; sisters-in-law, Sandra Patterson and Amy Jones and Clarence, all of Shelby; and a number of nieces and nephews.
