Audrey Barlowe Price

Mrs. Audrey Barlowe Price, age 86 of Shelby, NC, passed away Saturday, September 27, 2025, at her residence.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Gerald Price of the home, a daughter, Cathy Wall and husband Eric of Shelby, NC, and two grandchildren, Alec and Harrison Wall.

Born April 12, 1939, in Alexander County, NC, Audrey was the daughter of the late Mack Barlowe and Bessie Deal Barlowe and was preceded in death by her five siblings, Fred Barlowe, Bill Barlowe, Odell Barlowe, Maxine Barlowe Kerley, and Clara Barlowe Wilson.

Audrey was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Audrey was a faithful member of Double Springs Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by those that knew her.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00pm Friday, October 3, 2025, at Double Springs Baptist Church conducted by Dr. Bulo Price.
