Audrey Gantt

Mrs. Gantt, 90, of 522 Gantt's Grove Church Road, Mooresboro, NC, passed away Thursday, September 1, 2011 at her home. Mrs. Gantt retired from L & K Knits as a cloth inspector and also was a homemaker. She was a member of Sandy Run Baptist Church, the Sandy Run Church W. M. U. & the Mooresboro Book Club. Mrs. Gantt was preceded in death by her parents Emory Spears Fraser and Odessa Deaton Fraser, her husband Clyde Wesley Gantt, a daughter Louise Wesley Gantt, two brothers and three sisters. Mrs. Gantt is survived by a son and daughter-in-law Scott Gantt & JoAnn of the home, two daughters Norma Jean Gantt of Shelby, and Mary Ann Shuler of Salisbury, NC, a step-grandson Lee Harrison Waters of Rutherfordton, and a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren. Graveside services will be conducted by the Rev. Scott Huffman, pastor of Campfield Baptist Church.
