Ashley’s legacy now resonates, echoing through the hills and communities that shaped her.

Ashley Marie Moore, whose vibrant spirit illuminated every space she entered, passed from this world on July 6, 2026—just a day after celebrating her 37th birthday. Born on a summer day, July 5, 1989, in Cleveland County, North Carolina, Ashley’s legacy now resonates, echoing through the hills and communities that shaped her.

From her very first moments, Ashley was a force of nature—a guiding light radiating warmth, kindness, and an infectious joy. Her upbringing in Cleveland County laid the foundation for a life rooted in deep connection, resilience, and boundless empathy. Those who knew her felt seen, valued, and cherished, whether in moments of shared laughter or in her quiet acts of enduring support.

Ashley's journey was profoundly shaped by family, her heart expanding with each role she embodied—daughter, mother, sister, and aunt. She is lovingly remembered by her father, Michael Moore, and her mother, Shelley Street Moore, who nurtured the luminous kindness that became Ashley's hallmark. In her brother, Ben Moore, Ashley found both playmate and confidant, and the sibling bond remained unwavering through every chapter of their lives.

Ashley was a Cleveland County Paramedic, a Field Training Officer, and an EMS Instructor. Her love for people and helping others truly appeared in her unwavering devotion to her work and her skills in Emergency Medical Services.

Those who knew her felt seen, valued, and cherished, whether in moments of shared laughter or in her quiet acts of enduring support.

As a mother, Ashley poured her soul into raising her children: Logan James Norville and Noah Lee Morrow. Her love for them was fierce and nurturing—an anchor in their lives. The absence of her beloved son, Bryson Moore Morrow, who preceded her in death, was a sorrow carried softly within her; her strength in loss was a model of grace and compassion for all who knew her.

Her familial embrace extended further, affectionately known as Aunt Kitty Cat, to her nephew, Braxton Moore, and her niece, Harper Moore—each one touched by Ashley’s gentle encouragement and ready smile. For all who gathered at family tables, Ashley offered acceptance and the promise of unwavering support.

Beyond the roles that defined her, Ashley lived her days with an openness that invited connections. Her friends, family, and all who shared company with her will forever remember her laughter ringing through quiet evenings and her calming presence in times of storm. She listened deeply, spoke with intention, and inspired others by example—never shying from vulnerability or celebrating life’s small joys.

Ashley's memory is carried forward in every life she touched, every heart she opened, and in the continuing story of her chosen and given family. Her legacy is one of courage, kindness, resilience, and abiding love.

Her love for people and helping others truly appeared in her unwavering devotion to her work and her skills in Emergency Medical Services.
